NEW BOWLS
Here are a few of my new bowls.
I want to start a new landscape quilt. I've been thinking about making a new quilt for several months but I just haven't had the time to . I have my black line drawings done and some fabric pulled so I think it is time to start one.

This first  set of bowls were ordered by a friend for two  her family members. If you would like a set call or email me.
I charge 25.00 for a set of five bowls in varying sizes. I will make them in your choice of fabric or colors. I'm getting ready to do a set in batik fabrics.

The symbols on the burgundy red bowls represent Spirit, Fire, Earth, Air and Water. The design on the turquoise bowls I made and machine stitched  with cotton thread. I painted the tiny flowers on each bowl with a different color fabric pen.

The next sets of bowls were made with fabrics that highlight the interest of the person that will be  receiving them. Car racing for one and favorite sports team of the other.

Microwavable Fabric Bowl Potholders
I just finished my first set of Fabric Potholders for bowls in your microwave.
They are made from 100% cotton and the bowls are reversible.
They can also be used to keep your hands warm when you are eating something like ice cream.
I used one kind of fabric and  used the right side and wrong side of the fabric to make these  bowls.
The sizes are of the bowl potholders are 14 in., 12in., 10in., 8 in. and 6in.
If you would like a set of your own or if you would like an individual bowl send me an email and I will be happy to make them for you.

New Bowl
I just finished a fabric bowl last night. I made it from cotton fabric and I fussy cut all of the fish and plants etc. from two fabrics I had on hand. I used a heavy fusible bond to fuse the two pieces of fabric, I used for the inside and outside of the bowl, together.
. All of the fish and underwater plants were applied to the inside and outside of the bowl using glue sticks.
Then I used a clear invisible thread to attached all the pieces I had cut out to the inside of the bowl. I started my stitching from the center of the bowl and stitched around the inside of the bowl all the way to the top then stitched from the top of the bowl back down to the bottom of the bowl. I did this several times until I was sure all the fussy cut pieces were attached.
After all the stitching was done I used a mixture of 50% each  water and glue to paint the inside and out side of the bowl. I placed the bowl on a another bowl that I had covered with plastic wrap to upside down and let the bowl dry.  I put the bowl that I had covered with the plastic wrap on a bottle so that the bowl could get air all the way around while it was drying.
I painted the bowl 4 times with the 50%  solution.  It helps keep the bowls shape intact.
I left the edge of the bowl free form instead of binding the edge with a binding to match a color in the bowl. I may spray  the outside of the bowl with a clear spray on varnish.

NEW BEADS AND FABRIC BOWL
I have been making beads from polymer clay and egg shells which I am selling in a local craft shop. If your interested in buying  email me for details. Below is a example of one of the fabric bowls I make. It is made from cotton and I use ultra hold fusible web to add stiffness and  I paint it once it is stitched with a solution to add stiffness. You can put anything that is not sticky or wet in the bowl.
