Once the leaves and Petals were finished I heated the petals and shaped them. Then I made a sample flower from a set of black and white and yellow flower petals to see how my flower would look once it is ironed, shaped and stitched in place. Tomorrow after I do some free motion stitching on the quilt tops to help hold down the messy cut fabric pieces I have glued in place previously I will be pinning the quilt tops ,batting and backing together and start stitching the leaves I just made in place.
