I got a card today notifying me that the scarf I made for Fiberarts Connection's "Enduring Earth" challenge to raise money for The Nature Conservancy was purchased by the Wilson Community Collage, the site of the venue in North Carolina for their collection. It was an honor and I was happy to help.
Since I really don't have extra money for fund raisers, I have decided to use my sewing skills, among other things, to help worthwhile causes and organizations raise funds for good causes.
