This is the picture I will be using for inspiration for the new quilt I will start on Monday. It is from an Egyptian tomb of the 13th dynasty. This will be a round quilt; for some reason I am drawn to making round quilts. I will set the flute player on a lotus and surround her with flowers and animals. I think I will also add butterflies and dragonflies. Once it is finished I may put it up for auction to raise money for a good cause.
