I finally got the tree attached to the quilt today. I took most of the day because I had to sew one or two stitches at a time. I would recommend taking a break every so often when or if you do this kind of intense sewing because it is hard on the back and shoulders. I still have to do more stitching over the plants on the bottom just to get them attached. Then I will trim the quilt and add borders. I removed the string from the quilt after this photo so I could stitch down the tree and plants.
